7.28 morning gold analysis
Since yesterday’s high at 4116, the gold price has started to decline and has entered an overall range-bound correction phase. Upward momentum keeps weakening; the long side lacks sufficient counterattack strength, and the market remains in a slightly bearish consolidation pattern.
In the early session, after briefly rising to touch 4081, price quickly came under pressure and fell back. The current price is hovering around 4063. A modest gap-up at the open was unable to hold the gains and the price turned lower again. Price continues to face pressure below the short-term moving averages. The MACD’s two lines form a bearish cross (dead cross); bearish strength keeps releasing, and the downward direction in the short term is becoming clearer.
Positioning plan:
On a rebound, sell in batches in the 4080-4090 range. Set the stop-loss above 4100. The first target is 4060, then look at 4040. If support is effectively broken, further downside could extend below 4000. #黄金
