Behind longXin Technology’s surge on its first day of listing, public mutual funds that participated in the offline (placed) allocation became key beneficiaries. Calculated based on the closing price on the first day of trading, the total unrealized profit for public mutual funds’ IPO subscriptions of longXin Technology exceeded 50 billion yuan, with the fund company receiving the highest allocation posting unrealized profit of more than 6.8 billion yuan; from the perspective of individual products, longXin Technology is expected to contribute more than 1% of returns to 24 funds, with the highest contribution possibly exceeding 3%. Kong Xuebing, fund manager at Jinxin Fund, said that the steady launch of storage “big-name” manufacturers means worries about liquidity conditions and style disruptions troubling the market in the recent period have come to an end. Cathay Fund said that as a domestic leader in storage, after longXin Technology’s listing, capital expenditures are expected to accelerate, which could continue to drive demand for upstream equipment and materials, making it an important “catalyst” for the sector. With current global expansion of AI computing power boosting both advanced process and storage capacity buildouts, the growth rate of the global wafer equipment market continues to rise; combined with the dividend from domestic substitution, domestic equipment companies have broad room for growth. In the medium to long term, AI industry trends are solid, and semiconductor equipment—being a core link in building computing power—shows strong growth certainty. While sector volatility may still exist in the short term, investors are advised to deploy in batches and manage the pace. (Securities Times)
