**Here's a sharpened version of the post:**

---
BREAKING: Asian markets just opened to a bloodbath.
KOSPI is down 6.7% intraday. Nikkei down 3.43%.
The trigger was a fresh selloff in US chip stocks overnight. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell 2.2% Monday, and that weakness followed Asian futures straight into today’s open.
KOSPI carries the heaviest chip exposure of any major index. Samsung and SK Hynix alone make up a huge chunk , so it always takes the hardest hit when semiconductor sentiment turns.
This comes right as the market is also digesting tomorrow’s FOMC decision, where a surprise rate hike is not fully off the table.
Two pressure points hitting at once: chip stock fear and Fed uncertainty, both landing the same week.
SK Hynix-14.64%
