This short position could be eaten; the key is not just seeing the price drop and then chasing, but that at the high level there was a prolonged lack of a proper bid to take over. While watching $AZTEC , there were several times around 0.02762 where it spiked up and then rolled back; I was more focused on the detail that every time it tried to surge, it got smashed back down.
The grinding, like a millstone, in the middle was really torturous—the price kept poking needles in both directions, and my short position also made me a bit panicky at one point. Luckily I didn’t get off too quickly just because of a short-term rebound; the real breakdown came around 0.01419, and the sell pressure was released immediately.
From 0.02762 to 0.01419, the result was +1192.35%. The bears’ timing for this move was basically right on target. After the market fell, my judgment about pressure at the high level became even more confident—not because I turned bearish after it dropped, but because the earlier issues still hadn’t been resolved.
The hardest thing in crypto isn’t seeing the direction—it’s whether you can stay steady through the millstone action. If you miss the position, don’t get itchy and chase; wait for the market to answer for itself—often it feels better than taking a flying knife head-on.
