I originally just wanted to catch a quick breakfast, but the order book first served the meal to the shorts. When the market got dumped early in the session, $OPN was still chopping around in the high range. It looked like it was trying to hold steady, but in reality every rebound lacked strength. I saw that the overhead pressure hadn’t loosened and trading volume was relatively low, so buy orders couldn’t hold up the price. I concluded this wasn’t strong continuation—it was leaving a window for the shorts.

At the time, I opened a long position around 0.1710. The price later fell to 0.0533, and the +3314.73% move had already been realized. That profit felt good to take. I closed 80% first, and moved the remaining 20%’s protection level to near the cost basis. If it keeps dropping further, let the profits run; if it bounces back, don’t give back the earlier gains.

The market is something you wait for, and profit is something you hold onto. If a short position is in profit, you need to know how to close it—don’t turn locking in gains into a show on paper.

Friends who haven’t boarded yet, listen to me: this is not the time to chase shorts. Don’t add the final knife after a sharp sell-off. Wait for the next cycle’s signal to act—there will be opportunities. Don’t rush.
