Saylor will be selling BTC to support $STRC

Michael wrote that the company will repurchase its own shares by selling the Bitcoin reserve and its shares of $MSTR in order to keep the STRC price around $100; the dollar reserve will not be used for buybacks—it will go to paying current expenses and dividends

To be honest, this news makes me really uneasy. Moves like MSTR’s essentially burn through BTC liquidity to prop up a project that isn’t very stable; in the long run, it’s also a kind of harm to Bitcoin itself. I hope they don’t end up having both sides collapse.

Using Bitcoin reserves to buy back its own shares to stabilize the coin price sounds like a Ponzi scheme, doesn’t it? If the dollars are kept for expenses, what happens if the coin price keeps falling?

Although it’s a short-term negative, take another perspective: if the company can truly keep STRC at 100, it would actually prove its resilience and risk resistance—maybe it’s a bargain-buy opportunity.

Selling BTC to prop up the market again? I know this script—every time it’s just plugging your ears and pretending not to hear.
