#跟单日记 Choosing a reliable crypto market signal trader hinges on going beyond surface-level data—focus on real risk control and long-term stability.

First, don’t only look at high ROI, especially short-term windfall gains.
Many signal traders create the illusion of “earning 30% per week” by trading one-way moves with high leverage. But once their judgment is wrong, one mistake could wipe them out in a liquidation and reduce everything to zero. The traders worth following are those with smaller maximum drawdowns and a return curve that trends steadily upward. If drawdown exceeds 30%, it’s basically high-risk, high-stakes gambling, not suitable for steady copy trading.

Second, evaluate trading cycles and strategy consistency. At least choose signal traders who have been running for more than 3-6 months, having passed the test of surviving bull-bear transitions. Also pay attention to their trading frequency and holding time. If they open and close positions frequently, or execute hundreds of trades in a day, they may be trying to either rack up trading fees or manufacture the appearance of activity—not a genuinely profitable strategy.

Next, check the signal trader’s actual P&L and whether the number of followers is real. If a signal trader has thousands of copy traders, but the top few dozen followers’ returns are generally only a few dozen dollars, that suggests many are “farming” accounts and the real copy-trading performance is questionable. Prioritize traders with a large number of followers and overall profitability among their followers.

Finally, diversify copy trading and test with small funds.
Even if you pick signal traders that look excellent, it’s still recommended to start with a very small amount to test the real copy-trading results before deciding whether to add more. You can also follow 3-5 different style signal traders to diversify the risk of a single strategy failing.
