People who are still collecting “universal prompt words” might already be a little behind.

When you’re doing Agents now, what makes the difference isn’t whether you can give instructions.
It’s what you actually fed it.
Anthropic calls this “context engineering”: the model’s attention is limited. The more documents you stuff in, the smarter it doesn’t get—if anything, it’s easier for it to grab the wrong key points.
Four key points:
1. First, clearly spell out the goal, constraints, and the delivery format
2. Look things up only when they’re needed—don’t dump everything at the start
3. For long tasks, compress periodically, keeping only decisions and unfinished items
4. Run search, organization, and verification separately, then have the main Agent converge at the end
In the future, the standard for AI will be whether you can take a jumbled mess of work and turn it into an environment that an AI can understand, take on, and not veer off course with.
A prompt is more like a single briefing.
Context engineering is about setting up a whole office for the AI.
