Crypto news outlet CoinWorld reports that Nvidia recently made a major investment in AI infrastructure provider Nebius Group (Nasdaq: NBIS), driving its stock price up nearly 19% on July 21. According to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Nvidia holds a 9.3% stake in Nebius worth more than $5 billion. In addition, Nvidia announced in March this year that it would invest $2 billion in Nebius to help it deploy more than 5 gigawatts of AI data center capacity over the next decade. Nebius has generated $878 million in revenue over the past 12 months, and the company expects the AI data center market to generate more than $53B in revenue by 2030. Analysts expect Nebius’ revenue to grow 7 times over the next two years, despite its price-to-earnings ratio of 57x, and still sees significant growth potential.
