This trade is the kind where you got the direction right but almost didn’t hold the position after.

The price repeatedly pushed around 0.0001670—at first glance it looked pretty aggressive—but every time it went up, it quickly pulled back. I judged that selling pressure at the high was still there. In the end, it一路走到 0.0000898, and the result landed at +899.6%.

The initial bounce was really scary. My short position was pushed hard for a while, and my mindset nearly broke. I think many people must have felt that: even though the logic is still there, the chart keeps refusing to give feedback. If you’re even slightly not坚定, you’ll get wicked out.

Later I re-focused on the chart and found that the bounce didn’t bring stronger support—instead, the higher it went, the more obvious the surge-and-retrace became. When the key level below was finally broken down, the shorts truly took over the pace. The anxiety I had earlier slowly turned into relief.

The easiest mistake in crypto is taking a temporary pullback as a change of direction. This time it wasn’t because I only acknowledged the shorts after the fall—the issue at the highs simply hadn’t been resolved all along. As long as the original logic hasn’t been broken, even if short-term volatility scares you, you shouldn’t blindly change your plan.
