50% of the cost of leading models, same tier of results. That is what Microsoft is claiming for its new vuln-finding stack.

What dropped:
> MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, a model tuned specifically for security work
> MDASH, the harness that runs it against real codebases to surface vulnerabilities
> "world-class performance" on vuln identification, per Microsoft AI's own writeup
The cost line is the part builders should read twice. Autonomous security review only scales when it stops costing frontier-model money per pass.
