This short position can be profitable, and the key is not chasing it just because you see the market falling. After that previous high-level spike and reversal, I found the buy-side support just couldn’t keep up. The price churned around 277.1 for a long time. On the surface, it didn’t immediately dump, but in reality, every time it bounced, someone was selling. I’ve seen this kind of order book too many times in crypto.

In the middle, there was a needle-like push upward—honestly, it was really frustrating. Even holding a short position, you’d still panic. I almost got off early because of one quick upward draw. Later, when the price slid back into the original range, the short-side tempo finally truly synced up. When it reached 193.7, +1449.43% became the most direct feedback for this call.

I didn’t chase and add just because of a short-term rebound, and I also wasn’t thrown off by the stop-hunt and lost my rhythm. After the market came under pressure at the high, the hardest part wasn’t understanding—it was whether I could still stay steady when the market didn’t deliver immediately. This trade made me trust my short thesis even more.
