Bridging TradFi & Web3: Securitize Secures SEC Investment Adviser License!

The race to tokenize Real-World Assets (RWAs) is officially moving from experimental pilot programs to fully regulated Wall Street infrastructure. Securitize (NYSE: SECZ) the massive tokenization platform managing over $5 billion in on-chain assets just scored a major regulatory victory.
According to a new release from CoinDesk, the company's subsidiary, Securitize Capital, is now officially registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as an Investment Adviser.

 The Ultimate Regulatory Stack
With this new SEC registration, Securitize has essentially assembled the "Exodia" of Wall Street regulatory compliance. Through its various U.S. affiliates, the company now operates as an entirely regulated, end-to-end on-chain capital markets machine that includes:

An SEC-registered Investment Adviser.
An SEC-registered Broker-Dealer.
An SEC-registered Alternative Trading System (ATS).
An SEC-registered Transfer Agent.

 Bringing Institutions On-Chain

The Problem: Traditional asset managers (like BlackRock, Hamilton Lane, and KKR, all of whom have partnered with Securitize) want the settlement speed and efficiency of blockchain technology, but they cannot legally touch unregulated infrastructure.

The Solution: By securing RIA (Registered Investment Adviser) status, Securitize Capital is no longer just an exempt reporting entity. They are now fully positioned to directly help deep-pocketed institutions develop, manage, and advise on sophisticated on-chain investment strategies under a strict regulatory framework.

The SEC has recently been debating how established portfolio-management rules should apply to crypto vaults and smart contract lending strategies. Securitize is reading the room perfectly by proactively locking down the highest levels of federal regulatory compliance, they are building a bulletproof bridge that allows trillions of dollars of traditional capital to legally flow into the Web3 ecosystem. #SEC

This license was obtained brilliantly. Securitize has put the regulatory puzzle pieces together, and the compliance channel for Wall Street funds to get on-chain is truly open.
