Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 27, CNBC reported that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman will meet this week in Washington with senior officials from the Trump administration, members of Congress, and economists, to provide an early preview of a series of AI model capabilities the company is set to release, and to answer questions regarding its stance on network security and open-weight models.

The visit comes amid heated debate in the US over whether to restrict open-weight Chinese AI models. The report also said that Altman may respond to a network security incident disclosed by OpenAI this month and discuss how AI agents and “AI teams” affect labor productivity.
