I was originally planning to close the position and rest, but the market suddenly gave a nice turnaround move. After I just finished looking at the bearish news, many people were still wondering whether it could be pulled back—I cared more about whether each rebound had real follow-through. The result wasn’t encouraging.
$BNB tested back and forth near BNB, but the push upward didn’t have sustained buy pressure. Selling pressure was strong, and whenever the price got close to the high, it softened.
Once that judgment formed, I didn’t chase the fluctuations. Instead, I went long around 639.40—what I was waiting for was the short-side realizing profits after the rebound lost momentum.
The current price is 572.9, and this short is up +737.96%. I can finally relax the pace a bit. Take profit on 80% first, and use the remaining 20% to protect at the cost price. If it keeps falling, let the profit run. If it suddenly rebounds upward, I won’t let the unrealized gains turn back into drawdown.
Experts die from catching the bottom, while retail investors die from chasing positions. Smart people live in the present. If you don’t have a clear handle on the trade, look once to stay lucid—randomly opening a position is just foolish. Friends who haven’t gotten on board yet, listen to me: don’t chase the last leg. Wait for a better signal; the next opportunity will come with a more solid structure.
