When the screen is filled with green lights, what really brings you back to reality isn’t the drawdown, but the fact that those earlier details finally connect. A few days ago, in the afternoon session the market looked lively, but at higher levels it was getting increasingly hollow. 📉
I was watching KAS at the time and noticed that several upward pushes didn’t have any real follow-through. The buy-side felt like it couldn’t “catch its breath,” while the sell-side showed up as soon as it reached key levels. Weak rebounds, clear overhead suppression—this setup isn’t suitable for chasing longs, so I executed a long near 0.03380.
Now $KAS has come to 0.02951, and the short position outcome is +900.58%. There really was a need for a bit of patience beforehand. The real opportunities often aren’t during the most exciting moments, but after the strong support starts to show cracks.
First close 80%, and keep the remaining 20% under observation, tightening the protection zone around the cost basis. If there’s further sell-off, let the remaining position run with it; if there’s a rebound, exit according to the plan—don’t treat profit like chips to gamble on once more.
Being flat isn’t a crime; messing around with trades is the mistake. Chasing trades can get hung up on the mountaintop. Before new signals come out, stay steady—move on with the next shot.
