#SummerCreationCamp SummerCreationCamp

I am opening the doors to Summer Creation Camp 2026 today.

If you have been waiting for a push to finally start that project, this is it. Six weeks. One finished thing. A group of people who will not let you quit.

We ran the first camp last year. 200 people joined. 167 of them shipped something. Three got job offers. Seven landed paying clients. Two launched products that are still growing. But the number I care about most is this. 89 percent said they would do it again.

That tells me we built something that actually works. So we are running it again, bigger, better, and more focused for where the world is in 2026.

Here is the full breakdown.

The problem

Everyone wants to create in the summer. A YouTube channel. A newsletter. A product. A portfolio. A side business.

And then July comes, and August comes, and suddenly it is September and nothing happened.

Why. Three reasons keep showing up.

No deadline. Without a date on the calendar, everything slides.

No feedback. You post into the void and assume it is bad, so you stop.

No proof. When it is time to apply for a job or pitch a client, you have ideas but nothing to show.

Summer Creation Camp solves all three. We give you a deadline. We give you feedback twice a week. And we force you to ship so you have proof.

What it is

Six weeks. Fully online. Cohort based. About 8 to 10 hours per week.

You pick one project on day one and you work on it for six weeks. You are not taking notes. You are not watching 40 hours of tutorials. You are building, with people around you, with mentors reviewing your work.

We cap it at 250 people this year. That is up from 200 last year. We want it to stay small enough that you actually get attention.

Who it is for

Students who are tired of only having class projects to show employers.

Freelancers who want better clients and want to charge more.

Founders who need to build in public and get their first users.

Full time employees who want to start a side project or personal brand.

Creators who want to go from posting randomly to having a system.

You do not need to be technical. Last year we had writers, designers, marketers, developers, coaches, and teachers. The only requirement is that you are willing to show up and ship.

The 2026 curriculum

We rebuilt everything based on what actually worked last year and what changed in the last 12 months.

Week 1 Clarity and Commitment

We kill distractions. You choose your lane. Content, product, service, or portfolio. We audit what you already have. We set a concrete goal. Not "grow". Something like "publish 12 videos", "launch and get 200 signups", "ship 3 client projects", "build a portfolio with 4 case studies". You meet your accountability group of 5 people. This group meets every week.

Week 2 Skills Sprint

Two tracks. One for audience and content. One for product and business.

Live workshops on storytelling, editing, design, copywriting, product thinking, distribution, sales, and AI workflows.

Everything is taught by people who are doing it right now. You leave with templates, checklists, and SOPs you can reuse forever.

Week 3 Build Week 1

Ship version one. It will be messy. That is the point. Daily check ins. Live critique sessions where we break down 6 projects and everyone learns. The goal is to get something out in the world and get real reactions.

Week 4 Distribution and Launch

Making is half the work. This week is about getting it seen. How to write a launch post that does not feel cringe. How to pitch. How to get your first 100 viewers, users, or clients. We bring in three creators who grew from zero to 100k in the last year to show exactly what they did.

Week 5 Build Week 2

Take feedback and ship version two. This is where quality jumps. You add polish. You fix what broke. You double down on what worked. Mentors do 1 on 1 office hours.

Week 6 Demo Day and Next Steps

Everyone presents. We invite hiring managers, agencies, investors, and media. Last year we had 12 companies watching. This year we have 20.

But even if you do not get a job or funding, you leave with a finished project, a portfolio piece, and a network of people building at your level.

What is new for 2026

Three big changes.

One, AI is now part of the workflow. We are not teaching you to generate garbage. We are teaching you to use AI to 10x your output while keeping your voice. Research, first drafts, editing, thumbnails, code boilerplate, idea generation. But also where not to use it. Audiences can tell when something is generic. We will show you how to stay human.

Two, the bar for quality is higher. Algorithms reward retention. People are tired of low effort content. So we spend more time on craft. Hooks. Editing. Design. Product UX. You will be pushed.

Three, the market rewards proof more than ever. Degrees matter less. Portfolios matter more. Companies are hiring directly from demo days. We have built pipelines with companies who are actively looking for talent from the camp.

Real results from last year

A design student made a 3 part video series on UI patterns. It got 40k views. She now has 2 brand deals.

A developer shipped a micro SaaS for creators to track sponsors. 200 paying users in 6 weeks.

A marketer turned LinkedIn into a daily series and landed a Head of Growth role.

A college team started a podcast and got their first sponsor in week 5.

A writer launched a paid newsletter and hit 1000 subscribers in 45 days.

None of them were famous before. They just had structure and accountability.

Mentorship

You are not doing this alone. Each cohort has 5 mentors. They do office hours twice a week. They review your work. Last year our mentors included a YouTube editor who works with 5M channels, a founder who sold a dev tools company, and a brand strategist who has worked with Fortune 500s. They will tell you what is not working and help you fix it.

Community

This is the secret weapon. You will be in a group with 250 other people building at the same time. You will find collaborators, first customers, and friends who push you. Our alumni group is still active 10 months later. People are still hiring each other and collaborating.

Time commitment

Plan for 8 to 10 hours per week. 2 live sessions, 1 office hour, and the rest is building. If you cannot commit, do not join. This only works if you show up.

Pricing and access

We kept it accessible. The full six weeks costs less than one college course. We also have scholarships for students and for creators from underrepresented backgrounds. We do not want cost to be the reason you do not join.

Applications are open now. We start July 28.

Why I care about this

I have been creating online for 8 years. The thing that changed everything for me was not a course. It was deadlines. It was feedback from people better than me. It was seeing other people ship and feeling like I had to keep up.

That is what we are trying to recreate.

In 2026, the people who win will be people who can communicate, build, and ship. AI will handle average. Humans will win on taste, story, and execution. This camp is training for that.

If you are on the fence, ask yourself three questions.

Do I have a project I have been putting off for 3 months.

Do I want feedback from people who are better than me.

Do I want to be around other people who are building.

If you said yes to two, apply.

What happens after

You keep access to the community. You keep all templates and SOPs. We do quarterly alumni check ins. We feature the best projects. And we keep making introductions.

A note on AI and authenticity

We are not here to teach you how to flood the internet with AI content. We are here to teach you how to use AI as an assistant so you can spend more time on the human parts. Ideas. Story. Taste. That is what people pay for. That is what companies hire for.

Who should not join

If you want to watch videos and feel productive, this is not for you.

If you are not willing to get feedback and iterate, this is not for you.

If you are looking for a magic hack, this is not for you.

This is for people who are willing to do the work.

How to apply

The application takes 10 minutes. It asks what you want to build and why. I read every one.

We are accepting 250 people. Last year we filled in 9 days.

Final thoughts

Summer is short. You can spend six weeks watching tutorials and feeling busy. Or you can spend six weeks shipping something real.

If you want the second one, come build with us.

If you have questions about whether this is right for you, message me. Tell me what you want to build. I will give you an honest answer.

Let us make this the summer you finally ship.
