Selling off 1,400 BTC for cashing out $87.1 million; US company shifts focus to AI infrastructure

Mars Finance news: Digital asset management firm Empery Digital has officially spun off its digital asset strategy, switching instead to inject $20 million into Cardinal Data Power in exchange for about 8% of the latter’s shares, signaling that its business focus has completely shifted to the artificial intelligence infrastructure sector. Empery Digital’s funding sources involve large-scale asset liquidation. To raise the investment and repay debts, the company sold 1,400 BTC within two months, raising nearly $87.1 million in cash.
