Brothers, this is getting ridiculous—AI short dramas are already so competitive that it’s “one sentence to generate a whole scene.”

I just dug up an open-source project: ViMax.
You drop an idea in, and it will write the script on its own, split it into shots, generate characters and camera shots, and finally directly stitch everything into a complete video.
Even more aggressive: it can also turn novels into drama episodes.
You can also upload your own photos—or your pet’s photos—and have them cameo in the short drama.
The latest version even adds a web interface, so you can directly see storyboarding and rendering progress—no more black-box running for half a day without knowing what it’s doing.

But let me pour some cold water first.
Deploying it isn’t “idiot-proof”; you still have to tinker. And calling image models and video models is real money burned.
Still, if you’re making AI short dramas, or you want to study a whole automated short-drama production pipeline, this one is worth saving for now.
