Just finished lunch and opened the charts. The market that was initially building a sideways setup suddenly started slipping down. When the price repeatedly whipsawed in the session, I noticed $DOT struggled a lot with every rebound—upside suppression never really eased. The buy-side looked like it was making moves, but in reality there was no sustained follow-through. Seeing that the DOT volume didn’t keep up and nobody was there to take it when it went up, I didn’t wait for some so-called continuation of strength. Near 1.223, I executed a long.

From opening this position until now, the price has already moved to 0.817. The post-trade result was +2355.51%. Feeling like I nailed the timing really is comfortable.

Don’t be greedy for the last bite. First close for +2355.51% so the profit can land safely. The remaining 49% will be used for cost protection. If it keeps dropping afterward, let it run by itself. If it suddenly bounces back, it won’t mean giving all the profit back.

Risk control comes first—that’s called rationality. Cutting losses after it goes wrong is like “a brave man severing his wrist.” This isn’t the time to rush. Wait until a new structure forms, then reassess. There will still be opportunities—don’t be in a hurry.
