Whale Doubles Down on $18M Short as CXMT Explodes 453%

A whale has been aggressively shorting ChangXin Technology since yesterday, building a position worth approximately $18 million with an average entry price of $6.40 (≈¥43).

The whale reportedly placed take-profit orders between $2.00 and $4.50 (≈¥13–30), expecting a major decline. Instead, CXMT's pre-market contract surged to $7.00, leaving the position with an unrealized loss of around $1.4 million.

Meanwhile, the underlying A-share listed $CXMT skyrocketed over 453%, with ¥90.1 billion in trading volume—setting a new all-time record for single-day trading volume for an individual A-share stock, surpassing East Money's previous record of ¥90.038 billion set on October 9, 2024.
