This ETH really is a bit too much—during the stretch, it simply ignores resistance, with the highest rise reaching around the 1982 level. Meanwhile, BTC barely scraped up to around 65,700. Compared with the usual market behavior where BTC leads, this is indeed much harder. In the morning, I reminded everyone to short ETH around 1,965 and short BTC around 65,500. For those who haven’t positioned yet, at this stage, short positions can be entered normally. This kind of rebound is unavoidable—markets are like this, rising and falling sharply. But in the process, stick to your plan and don’t lose your bearings; only then can you truly make it through. Never follow the crowd—your counterparty has always been there.

The recent market environment is also a total mess. The US-Iran conflict has fallen into a stalemate. What started as the US’s early push for a quick win turned into a no-winner abyss. Oil prices are pressured alongside election pressures, amplifying economic pressure in the market. Technically, it’s very clear: the long-versus-short battle has entered a critical period. The suppression effect of the high-pressure level around 65,500 mentioned earlier has been continuously tested. From the morning’s first round of stretching to the afternoon’s second attempt to push higher, both were mainly based on this suppression level. After several tests, they all produced a rapid “sell-pressure” effect, and the K-lines kept being pressured back down. This is also why, in the morning, I told everyone it was the time to short—pushing up still remains very obvious. Under these circumstances, positioning is extremely clear: at this stage, short directly.
