Earlier, during the bear market, exchanges couldn’t really keep going, so they would most likely choose a “hacked by attackers” kind of approach.


On one hand, they could intercept part of the assets; on the other hand, they could settle the books for the misappropriated users’ funds.
Ever since the explosive-head FTX got into trouble, it seems like this situation basically hasn’t happened anymore.
Recently, two exchanges in a row have handled withdrawals in a normal, orderly way.
