ChatGPT’s desktop version can truly be controlled by voice now to get it to do things

And it’s not just the old kind of chatty conversation anymore
The new Voice has already been integrated into Work and Codex. You can directly ask it to open tasks, check progress, interrupt and redo, and even coordinate different Agents within the same conversation.
The most practical picture is probably: someone staring at the screen, telling it out loud to “check sources, organize information, turn it into a table,” all the way through—no need to sit there typing out a huge string of Prompts anymore.
But this feature is currently rolling out mainly for the macOS and Windows desktop versions, plus eligible paid plans; the Voice in Work/Codex for Business burns about 6 credits per minute. It’s convenient in a very real way, and the bill is probably going to be hard to ignore too
In the future, office coworkers won’t talk to each other anymore
They’ll all be arguing with their own agent hahaha
