This round hasn’t had much flair—what really feels good is that the shorts finally tore open the hard squeeze at the high end. During the intraday plunge, $ETH first repeatedly probed upward, then the bid side failed to take over. Once the price loosened, the pullback accelerated clearly.

When I was monitoring ETH, I noticed that the rebound kept being capped in succession, with strong selling pressure, and the volume-price coordination wasn’t pretty enough. When the price touched around 2118.05, I entered a long position. The key in my note was simply not to get fooled by the final leg of the push higher.

Now the price is at 1958.97, and the floating profit shows +698.18%. This short position has finally given a response—waiting wasn’t wasted.

Take profits first: close +698.18%. The remaining 82% will continue to be observed, with the protective stop moved back to around the cost basis. If price continues to dip further, let the profit run a bit longer. If a rebound happens, exit according to discipline—don’t let your emotions fight the market.

It’s better to miss a spot than to have a fly-knife filled in your hand. Chasing orders can easily get stuck at the mountaintop. When the next set of signals comes out, we can move again—there are opportunities, so don’t rush.
