AI storage sees a recovery, but the real market still needs performance validation
SK Hynix is up more than 2%, lifting the overall AI storage sector and noticeably improving market sentiment. However, from an investment perspective, this round of recovery needs not only capital inflows but also sustained delivery of corporate earnings. Over the past year, AI-related themes surged rapidly before undergoing a choppy correction. Now, as funds return, it suggests investors are refocusing on technology companies with genuine profit-making ability.
HBM is still one of the most promising storage products in terms of growth. Order demand remains #夏日创作营 stable, and pricing performance is also relatively firm. At the same time, AI servers continue to expand capacity, driving synchronized demand growth for enterprise SSDs, DDR5, and other products, creating new profit growth points for the entire storage industry. SK Hynix’s ability to rise first also reflects market recognition of its technological advantages and order capabilities.
That said, it’s important to note that the semiconductor industry always carries cyclical characteristics. In the future, if end-consumer electronics recovery falls short of expectations, or if global economic growth slows, industry conditions may still be affected. Therefore, this AI storage rebound is worth watching, but investors should focus more on monitoring companies’ revenue and profit over the next few quarters, as well as HBM shipment figures. Only if fundamentals continue to improve will the outlook be more sustainable.
