A few days ago, before bed I was still hesitating about whether to turn off the screen/stop watching the chart. Little did I expect that when I checked again in the morning, the shorts had already written the answer out in plain sight. When I thought this move was completely done for, $SHIB was still grinding at the high end, but every time it surged upward, it just missed by a breath—the key levels were never truly eaten through.

I put SHIB as the focus for observation. After the price rose, there was no follow-through, while sell orders kept pressing down layer by layer. Once it returned to around 0.000005663, I executed a long. The logic is simple: if the rebound isn’t strong, then I won’t be the one to catch the last run for the longs.

The current price is 0.000005091. The short position shows a profit of +715.44%. This drop wasn’t something to wait for in vain—it’s the payout made possible by patience.

When it’s time to take profits, take them. Close 80% first, and keep the remaining 20% near the cost basis as protection. If it keeps dumping further, let the profits run. And if it bounces back, don’t let the gains turn into an emotional roller coaster.

Market moves are something you wait out; profits are something you hold onto. This isn’t the time to rush. Don’t hard-chase the position you missed—wait for the next shot to appear, then take a look again.
