I don’t know if anyone else has been feeling the same way as I have recently.
The crypto market is going through a very obvious change: liquidity is drying up.
In the past, if there was a hot topic, a narrative, and money coming in, newcomers could also quickly find opportunities.
But things are different now.
What the market lacks isn’t projects, and it isn’t information either—it’s new participants, new perspectives, and new creativity.
For example: when many project teams or exchanges do promotions, their first reaction is often to find influential big V accounts, because they have traffic, followers, and account authority.
There’s nothing wrong with that.
But the problem is that once an account has enough fame, the so-called “content quality” sometimes no longer determines how far the message spreads.
Followers are used to reposting, users are used to following, and project teams are used to partnering.
In the end, a closed loop forms:
Top accounts get stronger and stronger, while newcomers find it harder and harder to break through.
But if an industry has only a fixed group of people speaking for the long term, that’s actually a dangerous thing.
The market needs fresh blood.
Because the ones who truly change the industry are often not the people already standing under the spotlight, but those who just enter the market with a different point of view.
Many newcomers don’t have millions of followers, but they may understand users better;
They don’t have the halo of the past, but they may be more willing to do research;
They don’t have resource advantages, but they may be closer to the real market.
If project teams and exchanges only focus on existing traffic, what they get may only be short-term exposure.
But if they’re willing to give newcomers some opportunities and cultivate a new content ecosystem, they might discover some unexpected value.
A healthy market shouldn’t just have “the same old faces endlessly cycling”—it should keep adding new voices.
Liquidity comes not only from capital, but also from people.
Only when more and more newcomers are willing to participate, create, and express themselves will the whole industry regain vitality.
Giving newcomers opportunities is also giving the market a chance for the future.
Does anyone else feel the same?
