I just wanted to take a quick look at the chart, but this short move wiped out all my drowsiness. A few days ago in the afternoon, $WIF was getting whipsawed in a high range—on the surface it looked like it was building up strength, but in reality every time it pushed toward key levels, it was pushed back down, with sell orders clearly more active.

When I watched WIF, I found the rebound lacked follow-through and volume didn’t keep up. The “nobody is picking it up” feeling only got stronger. So when the price came to around 0.1891, I executed my plan to go long, waiting for the pullback after resistance at the high.

Now the price is at 0.1557, and this short position shows an unrealized profit of +853.14%. This profit is effectively cashed in—those grinding waits weren’t in vain.

Close 80% first, and use the remaining 20% to move the protection level to around breakeven. If it keeps dropping further, let the profits run. If it bounces back, don’t give back the gains you’ve already secured.

Don’t chase after the drop has already started. Having risk control in place upfront is what gives you initiative. Don’t feel bad about missing this leg—once a new structure forms, I’ll alert you right away.
