NVIDIA uses Vera processors to accelerate the design of next-generation CPUs and GPUs

Jinshi Finance reported that on July 27, NVIDIA posted on its official blog that as its engineering team works to develop increasingly complex CPU, GPU, and artificial intelligence systems, the complexity of modern chip design continues to rise. To address this challenge, NVIDIA is collaborating with Cadence Electronics and Synopsys to optimize the key electronic design automation (EDA) applications for the NVIDIA Vera CPU. NVIDIA is currently deploying the Vera application in its EDA workflows for the development of its next-generation CPUs and GPUs, demonstrating how high-performance CPU architecture can help accelerate some of the most challenging engineering workloads in the industry. Looking ahead, NVIDIA plans to roll out the next-generation Rosa processor on top of Vera, equipped with the NVIDIA Rigel core, while continuing to optimize EDA applications across its CPU roadmap.
