A few days ago, the market action looked like it was deliberately putting on a strong front—then the moment trading opened in the early session, it instantly showed its true colors. Before the chart was fully “live,” every time $MON popped higher, it didn’t have matching volume. Once the price pushed up, it was immediately pushed back down—support was clearly lacking.

I watched how MON moved starting from around 0.02670 and judged this wasn’t a valid breakout, but rather a loosening at the top after nobody was there to take it higher. So I followed the short-side plan to open a long. Seeing the weakness early is what kept me from being thrown off by those few upward spike candles.

The current price is at 0.02129, with position profits realized +975.78%—this move has delivered the answer. First, close +975.78% to lock in the profit. The remaining 22% stays for observation, and the protection level is shifted to around the cost basis. If it continues to fall, let it run; even if it bounces back, it can’t undo the results.

Even if you only make one more point, if you can take it away, then it’s yours. Even if the floating profit is bigger, without locking it in, it’s only a process. Chasing later orders is easy to get stuck on the mountaintop. Move again when the next set of signals comes—there will be opportunities ahead.
