Big money isn’t “seen” — it’s “endured” into existence

There’s a brutal truth in the trading world: those who are fluent in technical analysis and can precisely call the top often don’t end up making big money; instead, it’s people who seem “clumsy,” who only make one or two waves, who eventually come out with a full bowl.
Why? Because you lose to the instincts of human nature.
1. Unrealized profit isn’t your money — it’s the market’s
When your account goes from making 10k to making 200k, your brain triggers the “endowment effect” — treating unrealized gains as personal assets. Once you pull back, what you feel isn’t “making less,” but “taking a loss.” To avoid this pain, you instinctively cash out and get off the train early.
2. People would rather have a “certain loss” than an “uncertain win”
Losses form a closed loop, and the pain of the moment you stop loss ends right there; profits are an open event. As long as you haven’t closed the position, you’ll always be anxious about whether it’s the top. To make things easier on the brain, it will push you to close quickly, trading away uncertainty for psychological certainty.
3. Holding the market is a hundred times harder than calling it right
Getting it right takes only a moment of judgment, but holding takes weeks of suffering. You have to accept this fact: drawdowns aren’t risk — they’re standard equipment for a trend. If you want to avoid every pullback, you will inevitably avoid every big trend.
How to break it? Turn from the “master of profit” into the “caretaker of trends”:

● Physical separation: turn off the display of profits during trading; don’t link unrealized gains to changing cars or buying a house.
● Rules replace emotion: use a trailing stop line instead of guessing the top subjectively; if it breaks, you exit — if it holds, you stay in.
● Give up the fish tail: voluntarily surrender the last portion of profit in exchange for the safety of the entire trend.
● Reduce chart watching: check once a day; don’t let short-term fluctuations hijack your emotions.

The essence of trading isn’t eliminating uncertainty, but learning to coexist with it. When you no longer fear drawdowns, big money will naturally come to you. $BTC $GT #美国对60个经济体加征关税
