Crypto World News: On Sunday, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung instructed senior officials to continue maintaining the oil price cap measures amid renewed tensions in the Middle East, until all oil price uncertainties have fully disappeared. He said that, given that oil prices are likely to keep fluctuating over the coming period, preventive measures should be taken immediately to minimize their impact on domestic prices. Lee Jae-myung also instructed officials to maintain other related measures (such as fuel tax relief) and said that if the situation worsens, further action should be considered. He noted that groups including truck drivers, heavy equipment operators, farmers, and foreign workers are especially vulnerable to high oil prices, and he specifically asked officials to thoroughly investigate abnormal market behavior, such as hoarding and price gouging related to essential civilian necessities or price manipulation, calling for measures to help stabilize prices.
