In the first half of the year, China’s GDP grew by 4.7% year-on-year.

July 15, the National Bureau of Statistics released data: Preliminary accounting shows that the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) for the first half of the year was 69.57T yuan. Based on constant prices, it increased by 4.7% year over year. By quarter, in the first quarter this year GDP grew 5.0% year over year, while in the second quarter it grew 4.3%. From a quarter-on-quarter perspective, GDP in the second quarter grew 0.9%.
