I just opened the app and watched the screen for a few minutes—the market view directly shifted from stubborn denial to outright surrender. When I thought this move was completely hopeless, $ICP suddenly broke below the consolidation range. Those rebounds that looked strong earlier didn’t manage to continue any of them. After the funds quietly withdrew, there was almost no decent support taking over under the price. The highs were being held down from above, and there was no one stepping in to catch it on the way up—so the short side window naturally opened.

After opening the chart in the morning, I looked back at ICP’s performance at 2.528, and then executed a Go Long. At that time, the prompt wasn’t telling me to chase the drop; it was telling me to wait for confirmation and follow. Now the price is at 2.166, showing a +689.6% profit display. I nailed the rhythm—so the recap also has its explanation.

First, close 80% of the short position, and leave the remaining 20% for the trend—but the protective level must be placed near the cost basis. If it keeps falling, let the profit run. Even if it rebounds, don’t spit out the portion you’ve already taken—stabilize first.

Panic is because there’s no plan; loss is because you think too much. After the downside is realized, you definitely can’t get emotional again. Chasing shorts will easily get cleaned up by a quick rebound. If you miss it, just wait for the next round—once the new structure comes out, then take another look.
