Just after seeing the bad news, many people were still debating whether the price would pull back, but the market didn’t give much time for hesitation. $ETH The rebound kept getting weaker and weaker; then sell pressure clustered in, and the price was pushed all the way from the entry area down to 1914.75. This short position is basically a completed assignment.

When the sell-off hit early in the session, I went back to review ETH’s price action and found that the earlier rally lacked a bit of momentum to back it up, and the support didn’t truly catch up. Back then, I warned not to chase a new order, and after confirming the upside resistance was effective, I went long at around 2118.05, waiting for the pullback after a failed rebound.

Now, the post-trade review shows profit of +892.52%. This gain didn’t come out of nowhere; it had already been signaling enough beforehand. The noisier the market gets, the slower you need to make your own moves.

Take profits when you should—first close 80%, and move the remaining 20%’s stop-loss protection to the break-even cost price. If it keeps moving down, let the profit run. Even if there’s a rebound, don’t make the gains feel uncomfortable. Managing position size matters more than emotions.

Pros die trying to bottom-fish, and retail traders die from chasing trades. Being able to live in the moment is the real skill. It’s not time to rush now—don’t hard chase just to make up for tickets. Wait for the next time a clearer signal appears.
