Bitcoin ended the second quarter with a realized volatility rate of about 42%, a level close to its lowest in several years, despite falling prices.



A decline in volatility suggests that the drop was orderly and gradual, not the result of a panic-driven selloff...

But on the other hand, it may also reflect investor complacency, which could set the stage for a strong move in prices once volatility returns to rising.
