“Doing jail time” is working at a state-owned enterprise—you never work overtime, you clock out on time, you eat on schedule, you rest on schedule, and your life is very orderly.


I have frozen funds from prison-affiliated companies. The court’s enforcement division said it was pay earned from the inmates’ work, so it couldn’t be executed; it could only execute 3–5% of the company’s total profit.
