Insider: Iran is willing to implement a reciprocal ceasefire, but it is skeptical of the U.S. side

Golden Finance reported that on July 26, an Iranian source said that as long as the United States stops military strikes, Iran would also stop military operations, but the Iranian side still holds “doubts” about the U.S.’s intentions. The source said Iran’s position remains “to respond to attacks with retaliation.” If the attacks stop, Iran would stop its actions as well. This position has been conveyed to the United States. However, the Iranian side said its “doubts outweigh optimism” regarding the sincerity of the U.S. ceasefire this time, believing the decision is more driven by tactical considerations.
