#Web3SecurityGuide Recently I “updated” my wallet strategy again. In the past, I kept thinking about concentrating all my USDC into a single pool—easier to manage, like watering and fertilizing. But in the end, I just kept moving around on-chain, fees kept stacking up and being added again and again, and it was exhausting. Now my mindset is a bit like tidying a garden: assets on different chains are just different flower pots. On Polygon, I plant some stable Curve pools. On Arbitrum, I stick in a few higher-yield seedlings. Anyway, fragmentation isn’t scary. What’s scary is getting flustered and forgetting which seedling is in which pot.

Recently I’ve been seeing that AI Agent crowd hype up automated trading. Honestly, I’m a little tempted—but when I think about it, automatic watering can easily drown the roots, and automated trading might end up dragging you into a mess. Whoever is really scrupulous about security is the one doing the work; whoever just talks big is selling a fantasy. Just take a look at their contract addresses and glance at their code audits—you’ll get the gist pretty quickly. As for me, a gardener type, I’d rather have a bit less return than be jolted awake in the middle of the night by the sound of a sell-off panic.
The current version is v1.1. For now, let’s go with this. The way to manage fragmented assets is basically to keep a small separate “account” for each chain, check the TVL ranking from time to time, transplant seedlings when it’s time to transplant them, and prune branches when it’s time to prune them. I don’t need a huge harvest—I just want that when I wake up every day, the pools still have water.
