Aave founder: The CLARITY Act has entered the “final mile”; if passed, it will be a positive development for DeFi

Deep Tide TechFlow news, on July 26, Aave founder Stani posted on X saying that the industry needs consensus more than ever, and that it is necessary to do everything possible to help the US CLARITY bill pass smoothly, even though the bill is not yet perfect and many implementation details will still need to be set by regulators in the future. But it will become the first regulatory legislation involving DeFi, providing a clear legal framework and regulatory certainty for institutions, fintech companies, and banks to participate in on-chain finance. Once formally passed, its potential to drive the on-chain finance ecosystem is expected to be similar to the development opportunities that the prior GENIUS bill brought to the stablecoin industry, attracting more investment and institutional funds into the on-chain space. Over the past year, especially in the recent weeks and days, the Aave team has been maintaining close communication with relevant policymakers in Washington, and it has now entered the “last mile” of pushing for the bill’s implementation. This stage is crucial.
