#EsportsTradingSeason
The World Cup just ended. The next arena is already live — and it's not on a football pitch.
This summer's esports calendar is stacked. EWC 2026 is happening right now in Paris — LoL, Dota 2, CS2, and Valorant tournaments running back-to-back. LPL and LCK are in their competitive splits. And Gate just flipped the switch on something that turns every matchup into a tradeable position: the Esports Trading Showdown.
200,000 USDT total prize pool. Here's how it breaks down.
New users get a 5 USDT voucher on their first esports prediction trade ≥ 100 USDT. First 500 eligible users, first-come-first-served. If you've never touched Polymarket on Gate before, this is the easiest entry point — one trade, one voucher, done.
Weekly volume unlocks vouchers. Three consecutive weekly cycles, each resetting independently:
5,000 USDT → 5 USDT voucher
20,000 USDT → 10 USDT voucher
50,000 USDT → 20 USDT voucher
200,000 USDT → 100 USDT voucher
500,000 USDT → 200 USDT voucher
That's up to 200 USDT per week if you're moving serious volume. Vouchers only work in eligible esports markets — can't withdraw, transfer, or cash them out. But they feed right back into more predictions.
The leaderboard is where the real money sits. Top 100 by cumulative prediction trading volume split 50,000 USDT after the campaign ends. 1st place alone takes 10,000 USDT — but you'll need ≥10M in cumulative volume to claim it. 2nd gets 6,000. 3rd gets 4,000. Ranks 4–10 share 10,000 equally, ranks 11–30 share another 10,000, and ranks 31–100 split 10,000 proportionally by volume. Minimum volume thresholds apply at every tier.
The whole thing runs July 20 – August 10 (UTC). Registration is mandatory — trades before you register don't count. KYC required. No API users, market makers, or institutional accounts.
What makes this interesting isn't just the prize pool. It's the timing. EWC 2026 in Paris has LoL group stages and playoffs happening right now. Dota 2 brackets are live. CS2 and Valorant concluded their EWC runs earlier this month — 100 Thieves took Valorant, PARIVISION claimed Dota. LPL Split 3 and LCK Rounds 3–4 are running simultaneously. There's a match almost every day, sometimes multiple, and every one of them has a prediction market on Gate Polymarket — match winners, series totals, championship outcomes.
Gate was the first centralized exchange to integrate Polymarket directly. No wallet, no gas, no bridging. Spot USDT, Gate account, done. The Smart Money feature tracks top-performing prediction traders — their positions, their histories, their real-time moves. Combined with live trade alerts, you can see where experienced money is flowing before you commit your own.
The FIFA World Cup campaign that just wrapped pulled over 501,000 participants and $528M in trading volume across 2.63M predictions. Gate ranked #1 among all Polymarket channels by volume throughout the tournament. That momentum is shifting to esports now — smaller individual markets, faster settlement cycles, more frequent events. If you were trading World Cup outcomes, the transition is natural. Different sport, same mechanics.
The World Cup proved this model works at scale. The Esports Trading Season is the next chapter. Three weeks. Multiple tournaments running simultaneously. 200,000 USDT on the table.
Don't watch. Trade.
