Didn’t expect the market to flip this fast. When it suddenly dumped during the session, the people who were still hesitating right in front of it had already turned into onlookers, watching the price slide lower.

While everyone else is still watching, I noticed $ETH ’s rebound getting weaker and weaker. Even as it kept probing higher, there was no follow-through in volume, and the key level still couldn’t hold. When I looked at ETH, I was more inclined to withstand pressure at the higher levels rather than keep chasing longs. So around 2118.05, I executed a long and set the risk boundary in advance.

Now the price is at 1885.47. This short position is recorded at +1021.06%. Nothing fancy—if I see the signal, I act. Once the result is out, I close it.

First, close 80%; keep the remaining 20% for observation, and move the protection level into the cost area. If it keeps pushing lower, let the profits run. If there’s a rebound, don’t let the winning situation turn uncomfortable again.

The market waits to be given time, and the profits come from holding steady until they materialize. Chasing trades can easily get stuck up on the mountaintop; chasing the dip can also be yanked back suddenly.

If you didn’t catch this leg, don’t be discouraged. The market isn’t short of opportunities—what it lacks is patience. When the new structure forms, we’ll take another look.
