There’s no need to focus on how the U.S.-Iran war affects the market for “big pancakes”; in practice, the impact is very small. Back then it was the U.S. putting on a show—now it’s the U.S. and Iran putting on a show together. In any case, they just clash in some inconsequential places to drive up oil prices, which benefits Russia and the U.S., as well as the countries that sell oil. With the strait blockade, China ends up buying less, but it doesn’t have too big an impact.

In the end, they still need to negotiate. Once the war ends, the biggest concern is that oil prices will fall—China will buy even less. What will they do then?

The weekend market is indeed boring; it’s been oscillating back and forth, but the bigger trend still needs to move upward. After all, the key levels haven’t broken downward. The overhead resistance at 644 has risen; next it’s 650-655. I think it shouldn’t be able to push up past 657. After the rebound, next week still needs to move down.
