Just after I finished reading the bearish news, everyone was wondering whether it would keep pushing higher. Instead, I put my focus on “who will be the one to take the bags.” Before the market/price action had fully kicked in, $TAO already surged up and then fell back multiple times; the volume didn’t keep up, and the follow-through/absorption was insufficient. The resistance overhead is more truthful than the surface price action.
A few days ago, I was staring at TAO in the afternoon. I didn’t get thrown off by those few fake moves. When the price came near 258.4, I executed a long following the move. Now it’s back to 196.1. When I review the short position, the profit shows +1161.08%. The earlier part was really painful and messy, but getting out was also truly worth it.
Take profits first: close 80% of the position immediately. Don’t rush to mess with the remaining 20%; just trail the protection level directly to the cost basis. If it continues to sell off, let the remaining profits run on their own. If it bounces back, also keep holding the bottom line—don’t turn realized gains into give-backs.
For coins you’re not sure about, a quick look helps you stay clear-headed; buying one lot when you’re uncertain is foolish. Don’t chase just because you’re jealous now. Opportunities are still there—don’t be in a hurry. Wait for the next round at a more comfortable position.
