I just casually hit refresh, and it tore the “face/respectability” off the top by itself. When the screen was full of green light, $DOT finally stopped trying to pose horizontally; the continuous pullback made that earlier fake breakout completely lose its key level.

In my last look before sleep, I was still watching DOT’s rhythm: the overhead pressure hadn’t gone away. Each rebound was shorter than the last, and the volume still couldn’t keep up. Seeing this kind of order book where no one was willing to take the bids as price pushed up, I didn’t bet on continuation. After confirming the weakness, I executed a long.

Reference entry price: 1.223. The current price is 0.824. The short-position profit has been realized at +2314.9%. The key to this trade isn’t guessing the top—it’s waiting for it to show its fatigue.

First, close 80% of the position, then keep the remaining 20% for observation. The protection level moves in sync to the cost basis. If the trend continues downward, let the profits run. If the pullback strengthens, first protect the portion you’ve already realized—don’t fight the market.

Don’t grind away your patience in a range and then try to reclaim dignity in a one-way move. This isn’t the time to chase shorts. If you miss it, then you miss it—the market isn’t short of opportunities. Wait for the next round of clearer levels.
