Gansu issues a red weather risk alert for geological disasters

The Department of Natural Resources of Gansu Province and the Gansu Provincial Meteorological Bureau issued a meteorological risk early warning for geological hazards at 10:30 a.m. on the 26th.

In the next 24 hours (from 10:30 a.m. on July 26 to 10:30 a.m. on July 27), the risk of geological hazards such as rockfalls, landslides, and mudflows in Qingyang City (Xifeng District, Qingcheng County, Zhenyuan County) and Pingliang City (Kongtong District, Jingchuan County, Chongxin County, Huating City) is very high (red warning). In Qingyang City (Huan County, Huachi County, Heshui County, Zhengning County, Ning County), Longxi City (Tongwei County), Tianshui City (Maiji District, Qingshui County, Qin’an County, Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous County), and Pingliang City (Lingtai County, Zhuanglang County, Jingning County), the risk is high (orange warning). In the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (Zhouqu County), Longnan City (Wudu District, Cheng County, Wen County, Dangchang County, Kang County, Xihe County, Lixian County, Huixian County, Liangdang County), Longxi City (Min County), Tianshui City (Qinzhou District, Gangu County, Wushan County), and Baiyin City (Huaning County), the risk is relatively high (yellow warning); please take precautions.
