This position in the front is very easy for people to misjudge. The price looks quite strong, but in reality, every time it spikes upward, someone is dumping into it. I was watching for a short opportunity around 2.0071; once the price pulled back to 1.4826, this time my call finally paid off, with the recorded return at +1257.27%.
The most uncomfortable part was that long period of sideways consolidation in the middle. I had an order in hand, but I kept waiting and waiting for direction—inevitably, my nerves got itchy. Later, I found that the rebound didn’t form continuous follow-through; instead, each bounce was weaker than the last. So I wasn’t tricked into getting out by a false breakout, and I didn’t chase the trade just because I saw red candles.
Once the market truly started moving downward, the chart became less complicated. Selling pressure at the high levels began to show up consecutively, and those earlier moves that looked bullish also revealed signs of exhaustion. Old hands in the crypto space all know this: the higher up a move goes with no one stepping in to buy, the more you can’t just look at the surface-level excitement.
This trade wasn’t carried by luck—it was because I was willing to wait beforehand. The result came to +1257.27%, and it also made me confirm again: what shorts fear most isn’t being slow—it’s having your own emotions shake you out before your judgment even gets realized.
