US media: The United States appears to have paused its strikes against Iran

July 26—A U.S. Department of Defense official told CNN that Iran-related operations are currently in a “pause” status. Previously, the U.S. carried out strikes against Iran for 13 consecutive nights, but it now appears that such military actions have been suspended. The U.S. Central Command did not announce any new round of strikes against Iran on Friday or Saturday. It is still unclear whether this means that U.S. forces did not conduct any military actions against Iran over the past two days.
