Mars Finance News: On July 26, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei said that on July 24 to 25, Iran and Oman held multiple rounds of deputy foreign minister-level talks in Tehran. On the basis of respecting the sovereignty and sovereign rights of Iran and Oman as two coastal states, both sides exchanged in-depth views on shared principles and specific operational mechanisms to ensure safe passage of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. Baghaei said the talks were productive and achieved some progress. Oman’s delegation left Tehran on the afternoon of the 25th, but both sides will continue consultations on technical and political levels. In addition, Baghaei said that currently there has been no change in the situation regarding vessel navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. (CCTV International News)
